Current Issue
Our current issues that we are working on are dealing with: Global warming, air, and water. Global warming impacts the whole planet and involves everyone everywhere. It hurts communities and wildlife everywhere, because it alters weather patterns. It may also be cause of potential increase of famines, floods, droughts, and general ecological destruction all over the world.
Air is vital to sustaining life on this planet. We inhale air to absorb the oxygen to live, and exhale carbon dioxide. Plants bring in the carbon dioxide to live then let out oxygen. The problem is when the air becomes polluted the cycle starts to break down and plants and human life become endangered.
Water covers more than 75% of the earth’s surface and rivers are what send water to fields and faucets, it creates canyons while bring minerals to plants and flushing out the waste to the ocean. But when these streams and rivers become polluted the world becomes endangered. A person can survive with out food for about 3 months but with out water we would only survive for about 3 days.
